Home Bakery Assistant Description: This is a flex role (5-10 hours per week depending on work load) for a home bakery located in Coachella, CA. This role does not require baking experience as dough making, baking and decorating are not part of the duties. Duties for the bakery assistant include organizing and cleaning the bakery, washing baking equipment and tools such as pans and cookie cutters, placing baked goods in packaging, preparing packaging such as cutting ribbon or tags, adding labels and assembling boxes. Additional tasks may include attending markets, dropping samples off at local places of business, helping with pop-ups, building a balloon arch, class prep including set up and clean up. *This is a support role only. This is not a baker in training or bakery mentorship position. Business coaching, mentorship or baking lessons will not be offered. Starting pay: $20 per hour. *
